Accommodation and facilities at the Mid-IB summer course in Sigtuna
Safe, cozy and modern.
You will stay in the modern residential houses of the Sigtuna School. The rooms are place in single gender halls and there is always at least one member of staff staying in your hall.
The housing is situated right by the teaching and sports facilities. It is also located close to the calm Sigtuna town and the cozy beach and barbecue area.
The Rooms
The rooms are bright and comfortable and equipped with a desk where you can study quietly. You also have a closet and a sink in your room, and there is free wireless internet in access in all rooms. We will provide you with bedsheets and linens (you need to bring your own towels).
Your room is placed in single-gender hall where there is access to shared toilet and shower facilities. And for your safety and security, there is at least one member of staff (of the same gender) living in your hall.
Single room
If you wish to live in a room by yourself we provide you with the possibility to stay in a single room. This alternative is optional and the additional fee for a single bedroom is SEK 690 per course period.
Twin Bedroom
Accommodation in a twin bedroom is included in the Mid-IB summer course fee. If you wish to share a room with an attending friend, you mention this in the accommodation section when you book your courses. Please note that it has to be a friend of the same gender since the halls are single-gender. If you don't have anyone to share a room with, then we will place you together with another student of the same gender. This is a great way to start off a new friendship.
Facilities
Each hall is equipped with laundry facilities including washing machines and dryers. Each hall also has its own common room where you can hang out with your friends, play games and watch movies during the evenings and the days. There is also access to a kitchen where you can make yourself some tea and have an evening snack.
