Our Courses and The Entire Fit of the Puzzle
Our courses are aimed at tackling the three main obstacles that prevent students in the IB from getting the grades they want. Our different courses fit the needs of IB students at the respective stage of their IB diploma programme.
Before starting the IB you want to be acquainted with the program and get an idea of what will be required from you. As you progress through the program you want to understand the things you learn in class and be able to apply them to relevant situations and IB questions. Because of the immense content you are required to know, you also want to ensure that you remember it all. And that you can ultimately apply everything correctly in your final IB exams.
Pre-IB Summer Courses
This course is for students who are about to start the IB Diploma Programme and it is the first course students can take with Lanterna. It gives you a solid introduction to the IB programme and you learn essential skills that help you succeed in the IB.

Mid-IB Summer Courses
This course is for students who are half-way through their IB Diploma Programme. This course is aimed at helping you understand, catch up and review your first IB year so that you become fully prepared to face the challenges that awaits in your final IB year. You are also given the opportunity to improve your extended essay, TOK essay, lab report writing skills and study skills.

Winter IB Revision
Our Winter IB Revision takes place in January. This course is aimed at students who will be taking their exams in May, the same year. It primarily focus on helping you understand the difficult concepts and build up the knowledge base you need to perform well in your exams.

Spring IB Exam Preparation
We host our Spring IB Exam Preparation courses a couple of weeks before the May finals. The courses are aimed at students taking their exams in May. They therefore focus on teaching you how to apply knowledge to exam questions while reviewing the syllabus so that you learn what will be required from you in your exams.

Online IB Courses
Our online IB courses serve as continuous support to students throughout their IB years. They are self-paced allowing you to go through the things you did not understand in school from a different perspective. They are designed to help you understand and remember IB knowledge while also giving you the chance to practise applying it so that you can improve your chances of getting better grades.
