Where - Stockholm School of Economics
You'll be studying in the Stockholm School of Economics situated right in the very heart of Stockholm. We are less than a minute away from the nearest tube station (Rådmansgatan on the Green Line) and a short walk away from all the shops and the historical district. There's not a better place to revise!
How to get to the Course Centre and the Accommodation
If you are staying at RICA hotel, you can easily walk to your accommodation. If you are staying at Vanadis the walk will take you about 20 minutes. Below is a map of the course centre, accommodation, and nearby Tube stations.
View the Stockholm Spring Revision 2012 map in a larger window (external Google map).
The closest Tube station to the course centre is Rådmansgatan (on the Green Line); its exits are a 30 second walk from where the courses are held. When getting to the course centre from your accommodation, it is quickest to walk, which takes 15-20 minutes from either accommodation.
How to get to Stockholm
By Train
Coming from other parts of the Sweden or from Denmark or Norway, please visit the Sweden's national rail services in order to plan your journey.
By Plane
If you traveling from abroad, then you'll likely land at Arlanda or Skavsta. We advise you to book early to get the cheapest flights.
The Arlanda Express, which stops at the Stockholm Central Station and costs SEK 130, departs directly from the airport, and 20 minutes later, you can hop on the Stockholm Underground. You can buy these tickets very conveniently at the airport. There are also coach services which take about 45 minutes and cost SEK 79, these can also conveniently be purchased at the airport.
From Skavsta, which is where Ryanair and some other no frills airlines fly to, the most convenient way of getting into Stockholm is by coach. It takes about 75 minutes and costs around SEK 100. You can buy tickets at the airport.
What to bring
We recommend that you bring all the equipment you would take to school (including your calculator), as well as all you'll need for the time you spend away from home. If you'd like to bring notes, feel free, but we'll be making a lot in class! Pocket money should also be brought, although we do provide breakfast if you stay in the accommodation we provide and there are affordable lunch alternatives near the course centre.
